Dennis holds a doctorate in medicine from the University of Washington School of Medicine, is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (FAAFP). He obtained undergraduate degrees in both Psychology and Chemistry from Seattle Pacific University, where he graduated summa cum laude and received the Distinguished President's Citation award. Dennis serves on the boards of the American Heart Association, Proskriptive Inc, Pfizer's Innovation Advisory Board, the editorial board of Managed Healthcare Executive, Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s Culture of Health Expert Advisory Board, and the University of Washington Primary Care Innovation Lab.
