Mordecai is a business development leader with 30+ years in life sciences. He began his career in public accounting at Ernst & Young before transitioning to life sciences, where he partnered with physician-entrepreneurs to drive commercialization strategies. He has held senior roles in therapy development, diagnostics, and clinical research. As Executive Director of Business Development at the Baim Institute(formerly Harvard Clinical Research Institute), he led nearly $500MM in research engagements with life science companies, uniting industry, academia, and trial operations teams to advance therapies, secure FDA approvals, and publish in leading journals. Since joining Carevive by Health Catalyst™, he has designed and developed digital and data assets to address use cases across the oncology care continuum, working closely with global pharma partners. Mordecai holds undergraduate degrees in Accounting and Economics from Yeshiva University and an MBA in International Business from McGill University.
