The VitalCDM application reporting uses this regulatory information and includes outdated/invalid codes and replacements, description changes, Medicare alternate or preferred codes, suggested device relationships, and comparative pricing. It also includes powerful resources like guidance on medical necessity, CMS requirements for additional codes to be billed, and best practice Revenue Codes from SAF data. In addition to primary codes, you can analyze your alternate codes and even soft codes in your files to ensure that all are kept up to date.
